Within the broad field of medical communications, CME programs are the most fulfilling to me as a medical writer. I enjoy working closely with thought leaders to translate complex clinical trial data into clear educational messages in a range of formats (eg, monographs, journal supplements, or slide kits). On each project, I also create needs assessments, learning objectives, post-tests, evaluation forms, and other materials required by accrediting organizations, and help to monitor the program materials for accuracy and fair balance.
